Trabaduro is a company that was created to cater to the digital needs of the African-Latino community. Trabaduro is a collaborative effort between entertainment company Black Folk Network and digital media coporation Elemental Work Group.
The primary goals of Trabaduro are to:
- create awareness of African-Latino culture on a global level
- establish a direct bridge of contact between African-Latinos and African-Americans through media and entertainment.
History
In 2007, the Black Folk Network established 'BFN Latino', a Latino Spanish-speaking department of the Black Folk Network. After BFN Latino began to outgrow its division, the need arised for a website dedicated specifically to the global African-Latino population and consumers of African-Latino culture.
In 2008, after much dedication and devotion to the project, Negro Latino was launched in January and has been growing exponentially every month. Without the constant work of the Trabaduro team, Negro Latino would not be where it is today.
